The Sad Sad Story of a Misunderstood Man

This reporter has been following the case of Robert James Quinliven (24) since the beginning of the year when it was announced to the general populace that his general ambivalence towards women, and their anatomical parts, had turned in fact towards complete dislike.
His closest friends were shocked, and one in particular had this to say "It's unbelievable. How can a man like Robbie say things like that? How?". Many of his fellow co-workers were equally surprised by the sudden announcement. His immediate superior said that he must have been lead to this decision by "forces of darkness".

The only statement made my Mr Quinliven about the feelings of his 'former friends' has been to give a "no comment". His mother, Barbara Quinliven (54) however, says that he had "saddened" the family but that they "respect" any decisions that he makes.
Mr Quinliven will not be drawn into any discussion on his mother's comments.

Mr Quinliven has previously played Rugby and Cricket at high level, but injury last season prevented him from furthering his sporting career. And in an increasing sporting world where the private affairs of participants are being scrutinised by the media and the public, this reporter sees a not too bright future on the fields of play for Mr Quinliven ....... continued on page 48, section C
